Meet Dr. Matsumoto

Michael Y. Matsumoto, DDS

Being born and raised in Hawaii, I was brought up with the spirit of “OHANA” or family. When I opened my office in 1997, I wanted to recreate that atmosphere. After 27 years in my location, I hope I succeeded.

When you come to our office, you will be warmly greeted by the staff. We know time is important so we always try to run on time. We do not overbook so your appointment time is dedicated to you. I am also accessible by cell phone or email after hours if you have any questions, concerns or emergencies.

There are no strangers in this world, only friends who we have yet to meet. One of my closest friends and patients I first met in the ER of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. It was during my residency after dental school. I re-implanted his front tooth he had knocked out playing basketball. We have been friends ever since.

Similarly, many patients who started with me when I opened and have since moved to the suburbs, now come to see us with their entire family. I am truly blessed.
